Nerdist Podcast #25: MARIA BAMFORD

I HEART MARIA BAMFORD! I was FINALLY able to get her on the show. My favorite part of this ep might be all the stuff that went on when my doorbell rang and I stepped out for a couple of minutes.

Bathe in the spring of hilarity that is BAMFORD!!!

  1. Tillburg says:

@Marina actually yes this is the normal her. She has a very jittery personality and well, abusive relationships have left an impression. That being said she really is one of the most wonderful comedians I’ve ever seen and I love her approach to herself and her material.

Big props to also mentioning Kashian. She’s so dang funny.

  2. Marina says:

Disliked this one, she seemed to be trying hard to be ‘in character’ the whole time. Perhaps this is her normal conversational personality but it did not come across that way.

  3. Rachel McMahan says:

Love that you guys had her on. Bamford is very funny. Sounds like you all had some good conversational chemistry.

  4. Luke Murray says:

funniest podcast ever. listened like 7 times and still laugh out loud.

  5. Pablo DePinto says:

“Everything is being televised so you won’t be able to tell where the revolution is” is possibly the most brilliant thing I’ve heard this century.

  6. Brett says:

I like the idea of a nerdshare! Let’s make it happen!

  7. Liana S says:

    amazing podcast. thnx chris

  8. Sporin says:

Thanks for introducing me to Maria Bamford, she’s awesome. I’m watching The Comedians of Comedy: The Movie” right now on Netflix streaming and she’s SO FUNNY!

  9. John M says:

I know this is an older episode but I’d like to comment on the story of the Buddhist Statue that Ms. Bamford was talking about. Take at look at number 5 on this list…

I believe this is the statue she was referring to in her story.
