Nerdist: Play – Why MIDDLE-EARTH: SHADOW OF MORDOR is Groundbreaking

It didn’t come with the same buzz that Destiny did, but you better believe it’s doing more than its part to bring some innovation into the game world. I’m talking about Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Monolith Production’s next foray in the world of Tolkien lore and their first outing on the new generation of consoles. I went in-depth on how the game measures up in my written review, but on today’s Nerdist: Play, I’m talking about my favorite feature from the game and why it’s got me singing this song.

Before tackling the potential game of the year, I have a delightful treat from the frightfully cute Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, who’s promoting the new Nintendo 3DS over in Japan. If only they’d give us a date to expect here in the states.

    Mordor was fun but too short in my opinion …. and a QTE final boss was a bit disappointing

    Ace Combat Infinity. HUGE Ace Combat fan… Very satisfied with this release. Free to play is great. Online coop, better.
