Nerdist: Play – And The Game of The Year Is…

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. That time of the year when reflecting on the best of the best in video games of the last year becomes the centerpiece of many gaming conversations, and the standout titles of the year begin to receive honors from various critics and publications from around the web. That’s right folks! Game of the year time has finally arrived.

On this edition of Nerdist: Play, I’ll be firing off a list of games that I thoroughly enjoyed, before picking my very own game of the year– but not before checking out the game (or non game) known as “Emagon” that PlayStation Spain has been teasing for the last couple of days.

    Dragon Age Inquisition, absolutely. One of the rare games this year that did not let me down AT ALL. Just finished it, and it was so amazing.

    I am LOVING The Crew. It has multiple layers of leveling up and almost RPG style upgrading. I am still early on so it could get boring or could max out early but I don’t see that happening soon. It’s awesome.
