MATTEL Turns WWE Female Superstars into Fashion Dolls

The days of professional wrestling being a “Boys Club” are no more. Some of the biggest superstars in the WWE are names like Charlotte Flair, Nikki and Brie Bella, and Sasha Banks, who compete in the company’s Women’s Division. On a related note, Netflix has found recent success with its original series GLOW, based on the all-women wrestling federation of the ’80s.

If you so happen to be a fan of WWE’s women competitors and of collectible dolls, then you’re in luck. WWE is teaming with Mattel to offer a line of fashion dolls based on its female superstars.

The news comes courtesy of Adweek and was revealed at Comic-Con International in San Diego. “The launch of the first-ever WWE girls’ product line is a significant moment in the evolution of not only our female superstars, but our entire company,” said WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon.

It’s an impressive lineup of dolls, with the creators managing to capture each superstar down to their trademark hair, ring attire, and casual wear. Whether you’re a collector looking to display your purchases or a youngster attempting to recreate the Sasha Banks versus Charlotte Flair Hell-in-a-Cell match, these WWE Mattel dolls are well worth the purchase.

You can look for the dolls to arrive in Toys ‘R’ Us stores in September, but pre-sales will go live on July 24.
