Marvel Will Bring DAREDEVIL To New York Comic-Con

The chaos of San Diego Comic-Con may be behind us, but that doesn’t mean the celebration of all things nerdy is. San Diego may be cleaning up, but New York City is currently in major preparation mode for the influx of geekdom that’s going to be descending upon it next month for the 9th annual New York Comic Con. At the moment, the programming schedule for the event’s slowly rolling out, and one of the big questions is what will Marvel be bringing to the table, especially considering they’ve rocked it the last two years in a row thanks to The Avengers and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Today, we have our answer, and it’s the best news we could have heard.

In addition to premiering an all new episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on October 10th at 5:45 PM, on Saturday the 11th at 5:15 PM, Marvel Television will bring together, for the first time, the cast and crew behind the highly anticipated Netflix series Daredevil. All of the series’ confirmed cast, along with showrunner Steven S. DeKnight, are expected to be at the panel moderated by Jeph Loeb where they’ll answer all the burning questions we have about the series. That said, it’s currently unknown if there will be any footage on display from the show, or if a release date will be announced.

We should also note that Loeb will be moderating a “Marvel Animation Presents” panel on Friday the 10th at 4:15 as well.

Of course some Agent Carter would have been nice to see, but considering this will be the first time we’re going to get any real information regarding the first chapter in Marvel’s Defenders saga, we’re totally happy to be getting some Daredevil action instead next month.

What Marvel goodies will you be checking out at NYCC? Let us know in the comments below.
