LONDON HAS FALLEN Star Morgan Freeman Reveals the One Role He Really Wants to Play

In 2013, Gerard Butler starred in Olympus Has Fallen as disgraced secret service agent Mike Banning, who found himself in a dangerous situation tasked with protecting the President of the United States during a siege on the White House in Washington D.C. Fast forward just three years and Butler and company are back, once again protecting Aaron Eckhart’s President Asher from dangerous forces—this time, across the pond. The movie is London Has Fallen and Nerdist had the opportunity to sit down with all of our favorite stars returning for the sequel, including Butler, Eckhart, Morgan Freeman (who is now the Vice President!), and Academy Award nominee and recent Nerdist Podcast guest Angela Bassett.

We chatted with the cast about getting the gang back together for the latest movie and keeping up with all of the physical demands of an action-packed adventure. We also asked the tough questions, like which political official would Aaron Eckhart rather be in real life: President Asher or District Attorney Harvey Dent? Plus, Morgan Freeman reveals what powerful icon he’d like to play next now that he can officially cross President, Vice President, and God off his list. For more with the cast, don’t miss our special edition of Action Movie Mad Libs where we plan the third installment of the franchise with Butler and Bassett.

London Has Fallen, starring Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, and Angela Bassett is in theaters now.
