We May Be Getting 2 New KINGSMAN Movies

Matthew Vaughn’s outrageous R-rated spy-satire series began in 2012 with the Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar comic book The Secret Service, which would later come to life on screen as Kingsman: The Secret Service. Filled with kick-ass action, crude humor, and ridiculously charming performances, the film and its sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle, have become firm fan favorites. Now, according to Collider it looks like we’ll be getting not one, but two more Kingsman movies in the near future. Reports say that the next Kingsman film will be a period drama “set many years before the events of the first film.” The article also states that this entry will be focused on the Kingsman tailor’s shop and was described as “history through the eyes of a Kingsman.” The film will reportedly start filming in London, in January, with Vaughn back to direct. As for the second film, well, it seems as if that will be the Kingsman sequel that fans were hoping for, with both Egerton and Firth expected to return and the film aiming to tie up their characters’ storylines whilst leaving potential for them to come back in future Kingsman projects. Collider reports that the film will shoot almost directly after the prequel wraps in May or June. Nerdist has reached out to 20th Century Fox for confirmation on these reports.

Are you excited for these new Kingsman projects? Just sad there’s going to be one whole film without Eggsy in it? Still disturbed by that sequence in The Golden Circle? Jump in your Black Cab let us know below!
