  1. Schleppy says:

Was that riff about the rapper just talking about how he’s gonna start rapping, the Dave Chapelle sketch of the same premise? It’s cool how they both independently came up with that.  I’ve always thought that rappers talk to much when they are waiting for the first bar to drop.  Oh rappers, you rascals!!!

  2. Daniel C says:

Jacuzzi Boys – Vizcaya  – The intro theme of The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail.

  3. Gannon says:

I have a four track recording of Braid from around ’98. The played an acoustic set in a record store. They were such a great band.

  4. Pete says:

Saw Braid at Fest 11 in Gainesville they were great.

  5. Mandy says:

I had a similar sentiment when Yellow Ostrich covered Sharon van Etten’s ‘Love More’ in that by having a man cover it, it changes the song beyond the sound. I like both versions for very different reasons.

  6. Arthropod says:

I would love to see Rob Crow from Pinback on here…he would be good on Nerdist, too. Guy’s a scifi and comic nut.

  7. Lamb says:

Sadly, I remember that Doug, Rugrats, and Ren & Stimpy all premiered on Nickelodeon on the same exact day.

  8. Gropestha says:

I only listen to hear Jonah insult people.

  9. Aj says:

Pussy-talkin’ Jonah swingin’ his Big Black dick around again it seems.

  10. Episode about FRANKING? FRACKING? FEaBKING? Naah, that one would be going too far…

  11. ablestmage says:

Huzzah, for the super-dry news jokes. MOAR!
