Join Jack Plotnick on Alpha for Drafthouse Presents: WRONG

Any film distributor worth its salt creates a brand for itself by specializing in a certain type of film. It lets the audience know that the film in question will be of a certain quality, a certain style, a certain other adjective that means cool. Since they first started picking up and distributing films, Drafthouse Films–the distribution arm of Tim League’s Alamo Drafthouse cinema chain — has given the world a ton of great and weird movies, both new works and forgotten gems. And on Saturday nights on Project Alpha, you’ll be able to enjoy and learn about these movies with Drafthouse Presents.

Drafthouse Presents is a live audio commentary of some of Drafthouse’s best and most intriguing films, and whenever possible, we have the people involved in the film join us to talk about the making. Saturday, December 10, will showcase Quentin Dupieux’s opus of surreality and intrigue, Wrong, in which a man’s desire to live in a world of denial results in strange and unbelievable occurrences. Have a look!

Looks pretty great, right? For the commentary of this movie–which starts at 6:00pm PT–I’ll be joined by the film’s star, Jack Plotnick. Send in your questions (live in the Project Alpha chat or to @JoinTeamAlpha on Twitter) for him about the making of this strange and wonderful movie, and we’ll answer them while recording! It’s as simple as that, sports fans.

And if you subscribe to Project Alpha, you’ll also get VODs of our earlier commentaries, including Dan Casey and myself talking about the crazy 1979 Italian gem The Visitor; Jason and Brandon Trost joining me for their 2012 movie The FP; and directors Mark Covino and Jeff Howlett, and legendary musician Wayne Kramer joining Matt Grosinger for the brilliant rock documentary, A Band Called Death. Lots of movies, lots of knowledge, lots of fun.

It all starts Saturday at 6:00pm PT on Project Alpha!
