Jeff Goldblum Will Star in JURASSIC WORLD EVOLUTION Video Game

Life keeps finding a way to bring Jeff Goldblum back to Jurassic Park. Goldblum may only have a small part in this summer’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but fortunately, the creative team behind the upcoming Jurassic World Evolution video game have ensured that fans will get all of the Dr. Ian Malcolm they need. Via Entertainment Weekly, Goldblum has signed on for a substantial part in Jurassic World Evolution.

In the game, Goldblum’s Malcolm will serve as an advisor to the player as they take over Isla Nublar and the nearby islands to build new attractions and create the ultimate version of the Jurassic World theme park. Players also have the option to bioengineer new dinosaur breeds, and we suspect Malcolm will have some choice words about the subject, given that he saw the consequences of man playing god for himself during the first two Jurassic Park movies.

Malcolm will be present for the entire game, and perhaps he can even help players solve the problem of keeping the dinosaurs contained. After all, nothing kills the mood at a theme park quite like a dino rampage. Even Goldblum’s humorous Super Bowl ad suggested that both he and his character are still traumatized from their first encounter with a T. Rex back in 1993.

Back over at EW, Goldblum shares some of his own thoughts about the new Jurassic Park-inspired video game (he even gives it a rating on his patented Goldblum scale). Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
