Initial Lineup For Skate & Surf Festival 2015 Announced! Gaslight Anthem Headlines

Sure, now there aren’t any airlines flying towards the coastal Mid-Atlantic or New England due to Winter Storm Juno (aka Snowmageddon), but the weather should definitely clear up by the time Skate And Surf descends upon the Jersey Shore in May.

The first crop of bands have been announced for the spring festival and it’s a pop-punk dream come true. Not only is Gaslight Anthem headlining the weekend, but appearances from Dropkick Murphys, Manchester Orchestra and The Wonder Years have us already reserving flights.

Plus, we’re totally geeking out over the long-awaited Acceptance reunion and sets from S&S legacies like From Autumn To Ashes, mewithoutYou and Poison The Well.

Skate And Surf 2015 will take place May 16 and 17—RAIN or shine!—at Asbury Park Oceanfront in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Tickets start at $104.99 (for 2-day general admission) and are currently on sale at the Festival’s site and fans have a choice of four package options: GA, Skate package, Surf package, and Ultimate Skate And Surf package.

A list of bands playing the festival (so far) can be found below.

Oh, and don’t get freaked out if you don’t recognize some of the acts added to the bill. The fest likes to add some surprise guests and they always go under weird-sounding pseudonyms. Consider yourself warned!
