Hardwatch: Week of October 27th, 2014

Are you ready for the spookiest week of the year, friends? That’s right, it’s Halloween week, and here’s little summary of all the great places you can catch our fearless leader for your eyeholes and earholes. If you missed Chris Hardwick on the Nerdist.com feed for ExtraLife this Saturday, then you can catch him in all these great places starting tonight!

Talking Dead will be on at 10pm right after everyone watches this week’s installment of The Walking Dead. Guests tonight include Mary Lynn Rajskub, Slash and a member of the cast. Both Rajskub and Slash have been guests on the Nerdist Podcast, and you should definitely give them a listen. For a little bit of fun, check out this study from travel site Trulia. Here are all the cities you don’t want to be in should the zombie apocalypse actually happen. (Yes, I know they’re called walkers.)

Once you’ve gotten your fix of walkers for the night, here’s a rundown of what’s happening on @midnight this week. They’re back with four new episodes! Monday night will pit Rob Corddry against Alison Becker and Dannah Phirman. Tuesday, we’ll see Doug Benson compete with Ari Shaffir and Bobby Lee. On Wednesday, Steve Lemme, Jay Chandrasekhar and Kevin Heffernan will take the podiums. And finally, on Thursday we’ll get to see Aisha Tyler go wit to wit with Steve Agee and Brian Posehn. We’re looking forward to some excellent hashtag wars and anything else that the internet can cook up in advance of show tapings.

You will also be able to catch Hardwick on the Nerdist Podcast this week! He’ll be chatting it up with Bob Odenkirk, horror maven Clive Barker, and Slipknot’s Corey Taylor.

As always, make sure you’re following Chris on Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram for up-to-the-minute happenings. And if you’re not going trick-or-treating this week, you can still get in the spirit of Halloween by checking out the great YouTube event we here at Nerdist Industries are participating in alongside our pals at Geek & Sundry and Legendary Entertainment. Halloweek will feature a whole slew of spooky programming, and we hope you’ll tune in.
