Hardwatch: Week of February 23rd, 2015

The end of February means there’s another stop on our fearless leader’s Funcomfortable tour in store for some lucky nerds in Chicago this week. If you’re lucky enough to be in the Midwest on Friday, February 27th, you can still get tickets on AXS.com. There are even two shows to pick from! For those of us not in the Windy City, here are the other places you can catch Chris Hardwick this week.

Monday night brings new episodes of @midnight back to your television. You’re not going to want to miss the first episode either. Nerdist pal Paul F. Tompkins will be behind the podium alongside Star Schlessinger and Hot Dog of No, You Shut Up! I’m pretty sure this is the first time that puppets have competed for points but feel free to tell me I’m wrong in the comments below. Tuesday night we’re back to a human lineup with Tom Lennon, Yvette Nicole Brown and Lindsay Sloane of Sabrina The Teenage Witch. Wednesday night brings Michael Ian Black, Kumail Nanjiani and Clark Duke together for laughs. And the week finishes up with TJ Miller, Brandon Johnson and the always hilarious Kate Micucci.

For all you Walking Dead fans out there, Talking Dead will be on tonight with Michonne herself, Danai Gurira taking to the sofa along with Paul Feig. Make sure you tune into AMC after the new episode.

Nerdist Podcast will also have three very special episodes this week. Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia sit down with the guys to discuss all things Philly. Then the podcast goes super science nerdy with Professor Brian Cox and special podcast bonus guest Eric Idle. They talk about super simple topics like quantum mechanics. And to round out the three episode selection, the Nerdist Podcast went to SF Sketchfest. You’re going to want to hear all about it.

Make sure you’re following Chris on Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram for up to the moment changes to these plans and extra tidbits of entertainment. We’ll be back next week with a whole new update.
