Get Your Tweets Typed!

My pal Patrick Borelli, a fine New York comic, has a joke-turned-into-reality service called “Typed Tweets.” It’s pretty self-explanatory but I’ll explain anyway! For a mere $5 US, you submit your favorite tweet, Patrick himself types it up on an old typewriter (it’s like a computer without the flaming and the porn) onto really fancy paper and then mails it to you.

I find this to be incredibly charming and fun. C’mon! You’re just going to lose that $5 on something silly anyway. This way, you can bring your tweeted snark into meatspace and frame it for all time!

  2. NeuroMan42 says:

Love this idea, as I have some choices one from @shitmydadsays that I would framed. 🙂

  3. cori says:

Or could just buy an old typewriter at a thrift story and DIY.

  4. yogahz says:

That gives me an idea for a business – I’ll *write out longhand* your tweets on fancy paper and mail them to you.

I did the sample tweetnotebook and realized my tweets aren’t worth archiving. I’ll just buy a moleskin.

  5. will says:

Come on man, using a telegraph would be waaaay faster than the pony express (that’s what they used to call “the mail,” right.). Get with the technology of today or become an irrelevant joke.

  6. marcus R says:

that would be like, $8 australian! you know what i could get with that? Kangaroo food!

  7. Jonathan Ralph says:

I just got this in the mail and it’s amazing! Also way cheaper than I thought it would be.

  8. Chase Roper says:

I’m going to order a bunch of my old #ff’s and then remail throughout my neighborhood.

  9. Bill says:

I’m short of cash. Chris, could you loan me $5 to get a typed copy of my tweet? You were just going to spend that on something silly anyway, right?

Hey, why not? I’m going through the pages and making sure to pick one with a link mentioned so it’s 100% accurate.
