Get Level 7 Access to New AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Images for 2.02 and Adrianne Palicki!

On Tuesday, Marvel’s grand television experiment, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., returned with a new and improved attitude (not to mention an ass-kicking warrior princess) that delighted fans everywhere. Gone was the spy-fi nature of the series, and in its place was a 70s/80s style espionage throw-back that featured some pretty cool tech… and a quinjet. Now, with the season set to continue in a mostly continuous run until the first mid-season break later this year (which will lead into Agent Carter), it won’t be much longer until Marvel drops episode two upon us, and to get everyone [even more] excited, the studio has released some brand new images from the team’s latest adventure, “Heavy is the Hand.”

In the next episode, after getting their newly acquired toy back to home base, Coulson and team will work to track down Carl Creel and the mysterious 084 they failed to recover in the previous episode. However, with half the field team down for the count after an encounter with mysterious absorbing man, that’s easier said than done.

Also, in addition to these new images, Marvel (via Entertainment Weekly) has released the world’s first look at one of this season’s most anticipated events: Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird:

All of this is painting an image of a S.H.I.E.L.D. with a clear agenda in season two, and we’re really glad to see that after the second half of season one delivered as well as it did.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC.
