GAME OF THRONES and OUTCAST Set Panels for Comic-Con 2015

Throw open the doors of Hall H! Game of Thrones is returning to San Diego Comic-Con!

The much-anticipated Game of Thrones panel has been announced for this year’s Comic-Con. On Friday, July 10 at 2:30pm in Hall H, Late Night host Seth Meyers will serve as the moderator for this year’s Game of Thrones panel, which includes a few cast members who have never been to the San Diego convention before.

The cast members lined up for the panel include Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Carice van Houten (Melissandre), Alfie Allen (Theon/Reek), Hannah Murray(Gilly), and Conleth Hill (Varys). Director David Nutter and executive producer Carolyn Strauss will also be on the Game of Thrones panel. Additionally, an autograph session with the cast will begin at 4:15pm.

George R.R. Martin previously announced that he is skipping Comic-Con this year to focus on writing The Winds of Winter, the sixth book in his A Song of Ice and Fire series that inspired the Game of Thrones TV show. It’s not clear if showrunners D.B. Weiss and Dan Benioff are also skipping Comic-Con this year, but they weren’t mentioned in HBO’s announcement for the panel.

Robert Kirkman’s Outcast will be the only TV panel put on by HBO’s sister channel, Cinemax, during Comic-Con. Based on Kirkman’s Image Comic, Outcast follows Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit), a man who has been haunted by possessions for most of his life. Fugit will join Kirkman in San Diego on Saturday, July 11 at 3pm in Room 6DE to offer the first look at Outcast with moderator Kumail Nanjiani .

Fugit’s fellow Outcast cast members Philip Glenister and Wrenn Schmidt will also join the panel, with executive producer Chris Black and “two surprise special guests” also slated to appear.
