First Look at THE 100’s Season 3 Premiere ‘Wanheda: Part One’

You’ve seen the teaser trailer. You’ve seen the epic extended trailer. Now it’s time to check out first look photos from The 100‘s season three premiere!

We’re officially less than one month away from returning to The CW’s post-apocalyptic drama, and with almost a year since we last saw Clarke (Eliza Taylor), Bellamy (Bob Morley) and the rest of The 100 characters in real time, it’s clear that a lot has changed on the nuclear-holocaust-ravaged Earth in these first look pics from “Wanheda: Part One.” For one, it’s been three months since Clarke and Bellamy let in the radiation to Mount Weather, killing every single Mountain Man, Woman and Child, regardless of their guilt in holding the Grounders and Sky People hostage.

Clarke immediately left the rest of the Sky People at Camp Jaha (which has been renamed … but we’ll let you learn that in the premiere) to go off on her own, since her own guilt and regret about the mass murder was too much to bear. And since splitting from her own people, Clarke has gone full Grounder in order to blend in with the clans out in the wilderness. She’s even made a quiet life for herself, hunting animals to sell at Grounder trading posts. But who would have thought that meant becoming a redhead too?!

Turns out, the legend of Clarke Griffin has spread to all the Grounder clans, making it imperative for her to be in disguise 24/7. And might we say, the red totally suits our favorite Princess.

The 100

And that means Clarke is going to need some allies to keep her new life viable. Meet Niylah (Jessica Harmon), a Grounder who operates a trading post Clarke frequents. Keep your eyes peeled for her (or, ahem, parts of her) in the extended season three trailer.

The 100

Here’s another shot of Niylah. She’s got a very friendly face, and Clarke thinks so too. If you catch our drift.

The 100

And when bounty hunters come calling for Clarke’s head, she’s going to need all the help she can get. Meet Roan (Black Sails and Shameless star Zach McGowan), a Grounder face you’ll be seeing a lot of in season three. But is he friend or foe?

The 100

Back at Camp Jaha, things have calmed down slightly since the war with the Mountain Men. But why is Raven (Lindsey Morgan) giving some serious side eye to Chancellor Abby (Paige Turco)?

The 100

Something is definitely going on between these two, and it’s personal. Let’s just say that Raven is going to have an even more emotional season than ever before.

The 100

You can take the girl out of the Grounder clan, but you certainly can’t take the Grounder out of the girl. Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is begrudgingly back at Camp Jaha, but that doesn’t mean she’s given up the Grounder way of life completely. Check out that horse!

The 100

Of course, it helps when your super hot Grounder boyfriend is also living with you. Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) is slowly working his way to becoming a member of the Sky People. Octavia may not be all that pleased, but don’t worry Linctavia fans: there’s plenty of romantic moments to look forward to.

The 100

Abby may be the acting Chancellor of Camp Jaha, but expect some civil unrest to break out among the Sky People. Will she be able to keep the pin and her power?

The 100

Yikes, why is Jasper (Devon Bostick) injured?! Let’s just say he hasn’t taken Maya’s (Eve Harlow) death all too well. His way of mourning involves drinking copious amounts of booze and picking fights with Grounders. Not a healthy way of coping!

The 100

The City of Light isn’t looking all that great from the way Murphy (Richard Harmon) looks in this pic. Why is he so unshaven and unkempt and disoriented? Did the bunker he discovered in the season two finale turn on him? Where’s Jaha (Isaiah Washington) been while Murphy’s been suffering?
