Finally, A Plausible Explanation For Jar Jar Binks

Was the real George Lucas kidnapped and locked away after the original three Star Wars, replaced by an impostor responsible for the lame prequel trio? No, but in this parody trailer by Slick Gigolo, he was:

Somehow, Brett Favre and Spock figure into this. Why not?

    Old Boy reference at 2:25-NICE!

  2. nic says:

hellz yeah! this would be a sick-ass movie!

  3. Zak! says:

Oldboy + Oceans 11 + Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels + STAR WARS. Would this be a great movie, or the GREATEST movie?????

  4. Zach says:

It was already mentioned but I was rolling at the Old Boy references. That was hilarious. Well done good sirs.

  5. Matt Warren says:

You’re right jtc, they are not that bad. They are much, much, worse. And it has nothing to do with post-Star Wars irony. The script appears to have been written by bag of irregular-shirts.

  6. Nick says:

Funny trailer, but only one problem as I see it: the Star Wars prequels were actually good movies. Yes, they have their fair share of flaws, but overall they’re still great movies. Sure the Anakin/Padme love scenes are bad (and that’s putting it lightly), but we still got Darth Maul, Order 66, creepy Palpatine, Anakin vs. Obi Wan, and countless other cool characters and moments…

  7. jtc2112 says:

But news flash. The prequels are not that bad. You know what I wanted out of the star wars movies when I was a kid? I wanted bad ass lightsaber fight scenes. The prequels delivered. What else? Bad ass special effects (check). Yoda fight scene (HELLS YES)!!!

Hearing people talk about the prequels reminds me of people who say that everything after “..And Justice For All” by Metallica sucked. Oh really? Sucked? Then why did everyone and their dog go see those movies and buy those albums?

Then the “cool kids” get together and decide that “this” sucks and “that” sucks “cause it aint pure like the old stuff MAANN” GFYS’s (That’s Go F**ck Your Self in plural form- BTW)

  8. BozoDeathGod says:

I know this is as close to blasphemy as Regan’s crucifixturbation, but when trying to make some sense out of the existence of Jar-Jar, I realized that as far as Archetypes go… Jar-Jar is similar to The Dude.
Nowhere, not even close, not even in the same galaxy of cool, i know, just the same Archetype, still terribly, like Regan’s crucifix, mis-handled.

  9. Andrew P says:

    This was so neat!
Im sure im not the only one who
    noticed the old boy similarities
