Bethesda Releases Teaser for New Game, FALLOUT 76

After a 24-hour live stream on Twitch filled with balloons, puppets, and bobbleheads, Bethesda finally dropped some big news for Fallout fans. Just ahead of their June 10 panel at E3, we got our first look at a teaser trailer for the newest Fallout game, Fallout 76.

The teaser doesn’t give a ton of hints regarding what is to come in the game, but it does give us several shots of the inside of a well-kept but empty Vault 76 just after celebrating “Reclamation Day.” Vault 76 looks quite homey, with no weapons or blood showing up, and we even get glimpses of a child’s well-kept but lived-in bedroom.

In the teaser, “Take Me Home, Country Roads” plays happily in the background, and a snippet of a press conference is shown on the television where a man says, “When the fighting has stopped, and the fallout has settled, you must rebuild.” While the celebrations for “Reclamation Day” seem to have recently ended, it’s not clear what happened to the survivors living in the vault. In fact, we only get one quick glimpse of a survivor who is clad in a Vault 76 jumpsuit and equipping a Pip-Boy.

The trailer has gotten a lot of fans hyped for a new adventure in the Wasteland, but the trailer doesn’t a ton of details about what to expect from the game itself. Of course, Vault 76 has been mentioned before in Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, so it will be interesting to see where on the timeline Fallout 76 falls.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait terribly long to get some more details on the game. Bethesda will likely hand out a lot more information about Fallout 76 at Bethesda’s press conference at E3, called BE3, on June 10 at 6:30 PM PST. We can’t wait to see what adventures await us all in this new journey into the Wasteland!

What did you think of the Fallout 76 teaser? What do you hope to see in the new game? Let’s talk about it in the comments!
