Exclusive: DC Entertainment & Funko Team Up for Legion of Collectors

Attention, all you fans of DC Comics, as well as all of you Funko POP! fans out there: today, we’ve got some news that’ll make you think it’s Christmas all over again. You might already have Funko POP! vinyl figures of classic DC Comics characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, and the Joker all along your office cubicle, or maybe decorating your bookshelf at home. Well, if you do, then you’re about to get a whole lot more where those came from.

DC Entertainment and Funko have announced that they are partnering up for a subscription service called Legion of Collectors, and the first box will be themed after the highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film, which is set to hit theaters in just a mere two months, on March 25th.
Like Funko’s other box services, there will be a new box filled with 100% exclusive DC Funko products every other month—and all just for the price of $25 dollars, plus shipping and handling. The first box will contain an exclusive Armored Batman Pop! along with other Funko items based on the upcoming movie. Legion of Collectors will ship to the United States and Canada only. You can check out the image above to get a sneek peak at what the Armored Batman exclusive figure is going to look like.
Other possible POP vinyl figures one can reasonably expect from the film are Superman (obviously, dude’s name is in the title), Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. And maybe a Doomsday and Lex Luthor? I mean, who doesn’t want a mini Jesse Eisenberg on their shelf?
Are you stoked about the latest Funko announcement? And will you ever run out of room on your shelf for these adorable little guys? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
