DC Releases Unaired Episode of POWERLESS With Adam West’s Last Guest Performance

Earlier this month, the great Adam West passed away at the age of 88. But TV’s first Batman left a few additional memories behind. In addition to c0-starring with William Shatner in the upcoming animated movie, Batman ’66 vs. Two-Face, West made a guest appearance on one of the final episodes of NBC’s Powerless. And while NBC has canceled the show, DC Entertainment has made it available to watch for a limited time.

“Win, Luthor, Draw” has been posted on the DC’s YouTube page, with a special introduction from Whitney Moore. In the episode, Vanessa Hudgens’ Emily Locke discovers that her life has been unexpectedly disrupted by a sudden alien invasion. Unfortunately, West’s character, Chairman West, isn’t going to make things any easier on her. Chairman West sits on the Wayne Enterprises board in Gotham City, and he wants Emily to fire one of her friends.

This would have been the penultimate episode of Powerless‘ first season if the episodes had not been pulled from NBC in the run up to its cancellation. Powerless executive producer Patrick Schumacker took to twitter to share his response to the unexpected release of the episode.

It’s worth noting that West had an innate warmth even when playing a seemingly cold blooded executive. We’re going to miss his self-aware cameos, but at least he got to say “Catwoman” one more time!
