Are you missing the spooky season already? Love to keep your devious decor up all year long? Halloween may be over this year, but thanks to an adorable new animated series, you can make it feel like All Hallow’s Eve year-round! Costume Quest, based on a trick-or-treat RPG video game, is a new show coming to Amazon Prime Video in 2019, and we’ve got a first look at the exciting opening sequence![brightcove video_id=”5856408516001″ brightcove_account_id=”3653334524001″ brightcove_player_id=”rJs2ZD8x”]Costume Quest tells the tale of four kids in the small town of Auburn Hollow who find themselves facing off against the forces of evil. It’s Halloween night, and the kids discover that there’s more than plastic skeletons hiding in the shadows. They’ll have to use their imaginations and turn into a team of superheroes with magical, creative costumes that transform them into powerful monsters, creepy creatures, and… is that Abraham Lincoln wearing a jetpack? 
The story, which takes place in the Costume Quest world originally created by Tasha Sounart, is loosely based on the 2010 role-playing game and its sequel. The game stars siblings Reynold and Wren, and it looks like they’ve made friends in this animated adaptation of the story.Stay tuned to Cartoon Hangover and Amazon Prime for more news about the series, which looks like it may fill the voids left in your kids’ lives (or yours) by the recent conclusions of Gravity Falls and Adventure Time.
