Cosplay Friday #156 – Harley Quinn, Kilgrave, and More

How is it March already? Didn’t the year just start? I was recently reminded of the date because a streak of big conventions aren’t so far away, and since cosplayers can almost always use a reminder about close they’re pushing things to the last minute, I thought I’d bring it up. Procrastination is a way of life, friends. Anyway! Before diving into the stellar costumes in this week’s Cosplay Friday, let’s review some dates. Chicago’s C2E2 will take place the weekend of March 18 – 20. Los Angeles’ WonderCon is happening from March 25 – 27. Then, Seattle’s Emerald City Comicon is running from April 7 – 10. Whew. The nutty thing is there are probably conventions happening every weekend this month.

While you contemplate how much of your costume(s) you can finish, please gander upon this well done, gender-bent Harley Quinn.

Don’t forget to visit the full gallery below. You’ll find a Leia Organa costume based on her look in the Princess Leia comic from Marvel, a Willow Rosenberg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the cosplayer has an uncanny resemblance to Alyson Hannigan), a creepy Kilgrave inspired by Netflix’s Jessica Jones, and much more.

Have cosplay of your own you’d like to share? Perfect, because I’d love to include your work in a future edition of Cosplay Friday. You can leave links to pictures in the comments, upload your work to Instagram and tag or mention me, or send me photos on Twitter. If you’re not the photographer, let me know who is so I can credit all the things.
