Coming Up on the Nerdist Podcast Network: Jon Cryer, Ingrid Michaelson, Kumail x2, and more…

What’s coming up on the Nerdist Podcast Network this week? Well, there’s one thing that’s gotta be a surprise; all I can say is, keep an eye and ear out for a new show that will be relevant to the interests of fans of a particular… okay, I’ve said too much.

But we’ll also (insert standard disclaimer about schedules subject to change) have Jon Cryer on the Nerdist Podcast, and you’ll find out why he almost called his autobiography “No Coke for Ducky.” But it’s called “So That Happened…,” and you’ll hear tales of being Brat Pack-adjacent, working with Charlie Sheen and Angus T. Jones on Two and a Half Men, and future plans.

Ingrid Michaelson will be on the Nerdist Podcast, and having just seen and heard Ingrid at a radio conference a couple of weeks ago, I can say that this one’s definitely worth hearing. It’s a wide-ranging conversation that goes from talking about dating to hypochondria to tuna (really) to Silicon Valley to losing a parent. And she sings, too.

Speaking of Silicon Valley, our own Indoor Kid Kumail Nanjiani makes a return appearance on the Nerdist Podcast, and OUR KUMAIL HAS BECOME SUCH A BIG STAR we’re so excited we’re kvelling. Topics include novelty t-shirts, classic movies with bad third acts, video games, super heroes, and the awesomeness of Emily (awwww). And we’ll have The Indoor Kids, too, so it’s double the Kumail, a good thing for everyone.

Co-Executive Producer/writer/developer Chad Hodge reveals the workings of the Fox mini-series Wayward Pines on the Nerdist Writers Panel. Candace SmithMillionaire Matchmaker, actress, model, The Price is Right, lawyer, Survivor, and, of course, roles in Beerfest and The Slammin’ Salmon — drops by for a visit with her Broken Lizard pals Kevin and Steve on Chewin’ It. And there will, of course, be much, much more, including the show I can’t yet mention.

Miss nothing. Go to the Nerdist Podcast Network homepage to listen and subscribe, and join us at the Nerdist Podcast Network Facebook page. And stay tuned for further instructions.
