Coming Up on the Nerdist Podcast Network: Benedict Cumberbatch! Lisa Kudrow! Lots More!

You wanna know what’s coming up on the Nerdist Podcast Network this week? How about this:

Cumberbatch.

Oh, yes, we’ve got the man himself, Benedict Cumberbatch. More? Lisa Kudrow. Wil Wheaton. Girls showrunner Jenni Konner. And that’s not all.

First, Benedict Cumberbatch is coming to the Nerdist Podcast to talk about Sherlock and his new movie The Imitation Game, in which he plays Alan Turing. He and Chris bond over Back to the Future, and Benedict shows off how funny he really is.

Lisa Kudrow is back with another season of HBO’s The Comeback, and she tells Chris about Valerie Cherish’s return after a decade on the Nerdist Podcast. Lisa discusses her career, Friends, the connection between Chris (at least, his old show) and Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion, and working on indie movies.

Wil Wheaton doesn’t need to be promoting anything to drop by the Nerdist Podcast and he’s back just to catch up on memes, how to pronounce GIF, what it means to be a nerd, and the Happiest Place on Earth.

More: Girls showrunner and writer Jenni Konner will tell all about making HBO’s hit series on the Nerdist Writers Panel. The artist who’s created so many of the great graphics for the Nerdist Podcast, Dana Lechtenberg, drops by The Mutant Season, comic writer (Kate or Die) Kate Leth and comic writer/screenwriter Jeremy Lambert visit Bizarre States (going weekly in January!), Chicago comic James Fritz gets Terrified with Dave Ross, and Natalie Morales tells Lies with Sara Schaefer. Oh, and it’s just Emily and Kumail on The Indoor Kids this week; can we call it a bottle episode?

There will, as always, be a lot more than that, but you’ll hear what else is coming soon enough — that is, if you go to the Nerdist Podcast Network homepage to listen and subscribe, and join us at the Nerdist Podcast Network Facebook page. So do that, because you don’t want to miss anything. And you don’t want to miss getting Cumberbatched.

Ooh, them’s some nice guests. You can never have enough Wheaton. Would enjoy some more Felicia Day now that G+S is under the Legendary banner.
