Chris, Tonight, Powell’s Books, Portland, Oregon, Go

Say, kids in Portland, Oregon and vicinity, what are you doing tonight? You’d better have answered that you’re planning to be at Powell’s City of Books on Burnside at 7:30 pm Pacific, because that’s where noted author Chris Hardwick will be appearing to promote The Nerdist Way, his fine new book published by The Berkley Publishing Group, a division of The Penguin Group (USA). Meet the author! Bask in his glowing presence! Buy his book, get his autograph, possibly even sneak a hug! I can confirm that the book is really good and that Chris rarely bites unless provoked, so you should go and feel reasonably safe in doing so.

Everyone in Portland knows, I believe, where Powell’s big main Burnside store is; it’s hard to miss, but if you’re coming in from elsewhere, point yourself at 1005 W. Burnside (northwest corner of NW 10th and Burnside). And if you have any questions about the event, call Powell’s directly at (800) 878-7323 (because I don’t have any more information about it then what you see right here). Go, buy, kvell.

Science Explains Why Your Cat Keeps Knocking Stuff Over

  1. Jess says:

OMG, Chris, where is the composite picture you took of the Powell’s crowd last week??? I keep hoping it’s going to show up on Twitter or something!

  2. Chuck W. says:

    Hey Big C!
I would love to get a book signed. There is a great little art theater in Long Beach. They recently hosted Red State, it was fantastic.

Also, now that the book is out. You might wanna look into getting that fleshed out. Every time I see the hyperlink in my iBook I want to click on it, but I know it will only end in disappointment.

But I have earned 100 XP so far. Can’t wait to see what my total is in the end.

Bigger C. (only because I’m taller, and weigh more then you, and my first name also starts with c. I would not like to meet Biggest C as that dude would be ginormous)

  3. JE Smith says:

Is there a list somewhere on the site of what cities you will be in on the book tour? I’ve poked around a bit but found nuttin’. But then, I’m not that bright.

  4. Matt S. says:

I know it isn’t very likely, but I told Santa that all I wanted for Christmas was a book signing in South Dakota.

  5. Karina says:

Can’t wait….Thanks, Chris, for making 2 trips to Oregon in the last month!
