Chris ‘n’ Aisha Play the Doctor Who Video Game

As a reminder for you to watch the Nerdist TV specials on BBC America Saturday night (9/8c and 10/9c), here’s a little clip from the Tribute to Toys and Games special, with Aisha Tyler and Chris Hardwick playing the Doctor Who video game The Eternity Clock. Aisha figures out who plays River Song, and they discuss hallucinogenic lipstick. You won’t find discussions of hallucinogenic lipstick on any other show. This alone should have you glued to your set or setting your DVRs right now.

Again, 9/8c and 10/9c, two new episodes of The Nerdist on BBC America, a Comic-Con special and the Tribute to Toys and Games. Do not miss them.

  1. Scott S says:

I’m also looking forward to the Aisha Tyler podcast coming out. And I was really disappointed in the Doctor Who game, the part where you have to try to get past all the guards as River is terrible, sometimes they see you for no apparent reason, sometimes they follow you past the checkpoint, and I only played a little past that before I gave up. I may try to go back, but I expect to just get frustrated again.

  2. Tracey says:

Chris, you mentioned in the BBC special that there is an extended recording (not sure if video or audio) of your interview with Aisha. Is it downloadable from this site somewhere?

Of course, as soon as I post this I’ll find it on my own.

  3. GooseGanja says:

I’ve got a feeling and I bet Chris would confirm this … Micheal, I don’t think Chris has met the actual Doctor. If he did the Doctor would have to fry his brain with the screwdriver because Chris would keep bugging him to be the new sidekick.

  4. Michael says:

Chris, do you feel weird controlling a character portrayed by someone you’ve personally known and, most likely, crushed in a bowling match?

  5. bob says:

    Ms. Tyler,

Netflix. Doctor Who. “Silence in the Library.” First appearance of River Song.

    You’re welcome.

  6. Joshua Bryan Hammack says:

Chris looks stoned in the picture, and Ms. Tyler looks fascinated, but confused.

  7. raxacoricofallapatorius says:

Aisha doesn’t seem to be a Whovian

  8. Robin says:

I want this game so bad. I’m waiting for a sale on PSN.
