Quentin Tarantino Will Bring THE HATEFUL EIGHT to San Diego Comic-Con

Quentin Tarantino is coming back to San Diego Comic-Con International, and he’s bringing The Hateful Eight with him!

On Saturday, July 11 at 1:30 p.m. in Hall H, Tarantino and the cast of The Hateful Eight will take the stage to discuss the upcoming film, share stories about the production, tease the forthcoming roadshow screenings in glorious 70mm, and premiere exclusive footage from the movie. Nerdist founder, Chris Hardwick will moderate the panel.

The Comic-Con announcement from The Weinstein Company didn’t state which actors from The Hateful Eight will be on the panel, but the film’s cast includes Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, and Bruce Dern.

Written and directed by Tarantino, The Hateful Eight is set a few years after the Civil War as eight strangers find themselves snowed in during a blizzard on a Wyoming mountain pass. But the dire weather may actually be less dangerous than the seven men and one woman themselves. Russell plays John “The Hangman” Ruth alongside Jackson as Major Marquis Warren, Goggins as Chris Mannix, Bichir as Bob, Roth as Oswaldo Mobray, Madsen as Joe Gage, Dern as Confederate General Sanford Smithers, and Leigh as Daisy Domergue.

The Hateful Eight will have a limited released on December 25 for an exclusive roadshow, which will screen the film in 70mm. On January 8, 2016, The Hateful Eight will get a wide release in digital theaters and 70mm showings in select theaters.

Do you dare challenge the crowds of Hall H to witness the first footage from The Hateful Eight?! Let us know in the comment section below!
