Chewbacca Crocs: Comfort for When You Pull a Droid’s Arm Off

Chewbacca Crocs: Comfort for When You Pull a Droid’s Arm Off

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Chewbacca? Fashion, obviously. Between his shaggy hair that tells you he plays by his own rules, to the only article of clothing he wears: a belt hung over his shoulder and across his torso, it’s hard to imagine any other Star Wars figure from a long, long time ago influencing our modern day style quite as much. Which is why it should come as no surprise that you can now buy your very own Chewbacca-inspired Crocs and be the envy of all the other nerf herders on your planet.

These officially-licensed Crocs, available for both men and women, will run you 60 dollars, but the joy you’ll get walking into the Tosche Station wearing brown, wookie fur-lined* Crocs ringed with a Chewbacca bandolier (that’s the type of belt he wears), well, who can put a price on looking that cool?

Oh, and don’t worry, there’s a small Chewbacca badge, so no one will ever be confused that your footwear is Star Wars related. You wouldn’t want people to think you were just some weirdo wearing brown Crocs with hair.

It’ll be interesting to see if Uggs responds with some winter boots inspired by Tauntauns. Could this also open the door for a Greedo-inspired handbag from Chanel? The possibilities seem endless. Just as long as the only thing inspired by Jar Jar is rage.

Before you rush off to buy these, tell us in the comments what Star Wars character should be the muse for a new, must-have article of clothing.

*Assuming it is real wookie hair; not positive, but pretty sure.
