BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT’s Final DLC Arrives Today

Today was the last Arkham Insider from the highly revered Rocksteady. In the final episode, the studio discussed the Season of Infamy DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight, which is set to launch today, December 22.

Those that have moved on from this game may want to pay attention, as this new story content brings back some of Batman’s most powerful adversaries. Mr. Freeze and Killer Croc will both be making an appearance in Gotham once again, along with some other notable baddies. The 2008 Batman suit from Christopher Nolan’s Bat-films will also be added as a skin. Take a gander at the video above for a closer look at the new expansion.

Arkham Knight down

It’s easy to forget about this fantastic title in a year filled to the brim with great AAA titles, but it may be time to “become the Batman” once again. The previous DLC wasn’t very good, so here’s to hoping that Season of Infamy will be as great as the main game.

There’s also another interesting tidbit in the above video that you may have missed. It seems like Rocksteady may not actually be done with Batman. The studio had previously stated that this would be their last Caped Crusader title, but the team hints otherwise at the 9:10 mark. When Rocksteady Game Director, Sefton Hill, is asked about this being the last game, he says, “Well,” and then the feed is cut off. Interesting.

It’s way too early to speculate about the studio’s future, but at the moment, it appears like the team is not ready to leave this iconic character behind just yet. Only time will tell.

Will you be downloading the Season of Infamy DLC? What do you think Rocksteady will be working on next? Let us know in the comments below.
