THE VAMPIRE LESTAT Shares First Look Teaser Trailer (And It’s Fangtastic)

The Vampire Lestat, the follow-up series to AMC’s Interview with the Vampire, is currently filming in Toronto. But at New York Comic Con, executive producers Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch, along with
cast members Sam Reid (Lestat), Jacob Anderson (Louis), Bogosian (Daniel), Assad Zaman (Armand), and Jennifer Ehle (Gabriela), previewed the series’ return in 2026, with a special extended look trailer. Not only that, but several new cast members were announced. But first, take a peek at the extended teaser trailer preview for The Vampire Lestat:

In addition to The Vampire Lestat teaser trailer, we also learned that playing Akasha, the role originated by the late Aaliyah in the film Queen of the Damned, is The Woman King actress Sheila Atim. Joining her as Lestat’s bandmates are Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek), in the role of “Larry”, Ryan Kattner (Destroy All Neighbors), in the role of “Salamander,” Seamus Patterson (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities), in the role of “Alex,” and Sarah Swire (The Boys), in the role of “TC.” Fans of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles will recall that T.C. is short for Tough Cookie.

AMC

Before Lestat recruited them, they were a garage band called Satan’s Night Out. If a fourth season gets greenlit on AMC, Akasha will be front and center. We don’t have a look at Akasha in action yet, but the new The Vampire Lestat teaser trailer does give us our first look at Assad Zaman as Armand in Interview with the Vampire season 3, and our first glimpse at Delainey Hayles returning as Claudia. And is that the vampire Bruce, we see? Hopefully for the next and last time.

We also got a preview of the crossover between Interview with the Vampire and the upcoming series Talamasca: The Secret Order, which shows newly turned vampire Daniel Molloy having a clandestine meeting with Talamasca agent Guy Anatole, played by Nicholas Denton. You can watch that extended scene right above.

All of this has us incredibly excited for Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ll be watching that The Vampire Lestat teaser trailer another thousand times. We can barely wait for more.
