TV’s most chaotic flight attendant is back and she’s been really working on herself. When The Flight Attendant debuted on HBO Max in November 2020, it quickly became the platform’s first breakout hit. The series followed alcoholic flight attendant Cassie Bowden on a wild night in Bangkok with a hot man from first class… only for her to wake up next to his dead body. From there, Cassie makes a whole lot of bad choices, which lead her into a potentially deadly conspiracy and make her a major suspect to the police investigating the crime. The Flight Attendant returns very soon for season two and the teaser finds Cassie in a much better place, if still in a whole lot of danger.

Cassie is now in LA but the globe-trotting drama continues! And luckily Cassie continues to wear a whole lot of stunning coats. The teaser shows Cassie balancing her jobs as a flight attendant and CIA asset. She’s thriving and even has an adorable new boyfriend ( Star Trek: Picard’s Santiago Cabrera). But there’s no rest for the jet-setting CIA asset. Especially with Cassie’s former coworker Megan Briscoe—the always fantastic Rosie Perez—on the run after engaging in corporate espionage.

Here’s the synopsis from HBO Max:

Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) is living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue. The season filmed in Los Angeles, Berlin and Reykjavik.

Knight, Yasha Jackson, and Audrey Grace Marshall reprise their roles from season one, there are some exciting faces popping up in season two. Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera, Sharon Stone and Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Steve Yockey developed the series, based on the novel by Chris Bohjalian. He and co-showrunner Natalie Chaidez serve as executive producers. Cuoco, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, David Madden, Suzanne McCormack, and Silver Tree also executive produce.

The Flight Attendant season two debuts on April 21 on HBO Max. It will release two episodes on April 21 and April 28, with the rest of the season releasing weekly afterwards.
