Ryan Reynolds is seemingly everywhere these days. Not just in movies and funny social media posts, but he’s recently executive produced a documentary series as well with his friend, actor Rob McElhenney. Welcome to Wrexham premiered recently. The FX series documents Reynolds and McElhenney’s purchase of Welsh football club Wrexham A.F.C. And to celebrate the team and an important upcoming holiday, the pair has announced a Welcome to Wrexham cookbook.

Since September 3 is National Welsh Rarebit Day, this was an opportunity for Reynolds and McElhenney to introduce some Welsh culture to the world. So if you’re wondering what the heck a rarebit is, or how to make one, worry not. The boys share different ways to make one of Wales’ most famous dishes. All with The Official Wrexham AFC Cookbook, 20 Ways to Make Rarebit. You can preview the cookbook, authored by Reynolds and McElhenney, in a video right here:

And here’s what Reynolds and McElhenney had to say about their upcoming literary collaboration:

As Co-chairmen of Wrexham AFC, our mission is to support the team and local community, both on and off the pitch. Today, we’re in the kitchen. And proud to share one of Wales’ most famous and tastiest legends – Welsh Rarebit. In this book, we’ll answer questions like what is Rarebit? Isn’t it just cheese on toast? And, why are two idiots with no culinary experience releasing a recipe book about this Welsh delicacy? Every page features a Rarebit recipe lovingly tailored for fans around the world. So wherever you are, we hope you’ll enjoy taking a rare–bite out of Welsh history, as you cheer on the Red Dragons. Mwynhewch eich bwyd  (bon appetit).
