Pickle Rick Is Now a Seltzer Water

Pickle Rick was an instant icon when he appeared on Rick and Morty, so the deluge of merchandise that followed Rick’s weirdest iteration wasn’t surprising. Not was it strange when he was turned into his own line of potato chips. Pickles taste good! But the latest Adult Swim product might have gone too far distilling the show’s silliness into something you can buy. Because you really have to like dill to want new Pickle Rick seltzer water.

Adult Swim and Miracle Seltzer have teamed up for a limited-edition drink based on one of Rick and Morty‘s most infamous character. Pickle Rick Miracle Seltzer has turned that dill-icious figure into 12-ounce cans of carbonation.

Miracle “reached out” to Pickle Juice for help making their own “flavor fortified version of their juice containing dual filtered water, organic vinegar, salt, organic dill oil, potassium, zinc, and vitamin C and E.” The result is a sugar and caffeine free drink with no artificial flavors or colors. It does however come with a lot of questions. Like “Why?” and “Really?” and “No, really?” Unless you’re making a pickleback cocktail, you will probably have to absolutely love pickle juice to want a pickle seltzer, right?

The seltzer is launching as part of the celebration of the Adult Swim Festival. The virtual event will stream on the network’s YouTube channel November 13 to 14th. The latter of which is National Pickle Day.

“Pickle Rick quickly became a fan favorite and when the team at Miracle Seltzer came to us with this unique opportunity, we had to say yes,” said Tricia Melton, chief marketing officer of Warner Bros. Kids, Young Adults and Classics, in a statement. “We’ll be toasting with our fans at the Adult Swim Festival and beyond with this new custom drink inspired by Rick and Morty.”

Miracle Seltzer also has a new line of limited-edition merchandise to go with the drink (a 12-pack costs $24). You can also order hats and tote bags online. And there’s a full package that includes multiple items and a 12-pack.
