While no one should ever complain about free candy, we all know the feeling of disappointment that comes from getting a second-rate sweet on Halloween night. Not every trick-or-treat outing can be a winner though, right? Wrong, because this Halloween season, a candy-converting vending machine will let some very lucky folks swap their unwanted candy for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.In a story first reported by Delish, the confectionary company has set up a vending machine to dole out thousands of free Peanut Butter Cups, and all it costs is something you don't want to eat anyway. The vending machine will set up shop in New York City's Washington Square Park (at 5th Avenue between Washington Square North and East 8th Street) between 4 and 9 PM ET on Halloween. Anyone who puts their unwanted goodies into the machine will have them replaced with Reese's cups. Yup, that's it, you give them inferior candy, they give you better ones. If you plan on heading over there with all of your mediocre hard candy and taffy, get their earlier, because they expect the candy to go fast. (So do we.)
