We are now fewer than two months away from Pokémon: Detective Pikachu hitting theaters across the globe, giving everyone Ryan Reynolds’ unique interpretation of everyone’s favorite electric, yellow fur-ball.

We’ve now got a new ad for the film that shows that even within the Pokémon universe, Pokémon is a licensing and merchandising juggernaut, judging by the bed sheets that Justice Smith’s character Tim owns, (which totally creep Pikachu out, even if he does find it all kind of flattering).  You can check out the new thirty-second teaser down below:

Ryan Reynolds revealed the latest ad on social media earlier today, in which he commented that he actually has the bed in question (we would like photographic proof Mr. Reynolds). In this brief spot, we see the miniature detective charging into battle using his Quick Attack move, being vocal about a pleasant little scratch under his chin from Lucy (Kathryn Newton), and being rebuffed after Tim refuses to let him stand on his shoulders.

The upcoming movie focuses on Detective Pikachu and his human partner Tim as they attempt to solve the mystery of Tim’s father’s sudden disappearance. On top of the mystery, Pikachu and Tim will also have to contend with  several not as friendly Pokemon looking to destroy the peace between Pokemon and humans in Ryme City. The movie also stars Bill Nighy, Ken Watanabe, Suki Waterhouse and a rumored sixty other Pokémon.

Detective Pikachu opens on May 10, 2019.
