Ahead of its May 20 release date, fans of Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots can enjoy a surprise episode from Volume 3. Netflix has released one of the season’s episodes, titled “3 Robots: Exit Strategies,” directly onto YouTube. And even if you don’t currently have a Netflix subscription, you can check out this Love, Death + Robots Volume 3 treat. The episode contains love, death, and you guessed it, robots.

Netflix shares more about the episode in a release. The platform notes that “Three Robots: Exit Strategies” is “the first direct sequel in Love, Death + Robots history– rom the mind of acclaimed sci-fi novelist John Scalzi. The titular trio of droll droids return to take a whirlwind tour studying post-apocalyptic human survival strategies before mankind was finally snuffed out.

The episode delivers everything noted on the label. And it asks a very important question, who among us would survive the apocalypse? (Sub question: “What exactly is a tech millionaire?”) We won’t spoil the ending, but it’s well worth your ten minutes to enjoy this beautifully animated and acerbically witty short. It will certainly leave you wanting more.
