If you're ain't outta control, you ain't in control. Those words of wisdom first spoken by Twinkie (Shad Moss/Lil Bow Wow) in the criminally underrated street racing classic The Fast an the Furious: Tokyo Drift. While they apply perfectly to the world of drifting souped-up automobiles around tight curves at breakneck speeds, they don't necessarily translate to maverick billionaire/everyone's favorite Hank Scorpio analogue Elon Musk and his plans for an elaborate network of underground tunnels where cars can travel at speeds of up to 124 miles per hour.
The first, potentially seizure-inducing video of The Boring Company's labyrinthine network of traffic-reducing tunnels is here and it looks like something that'd even give Dom Toretto a run for his money.
In in the immortal words of the late, great Billy Mays, "But wait, there's more!" Also on this week's episode of Muskwatch, Kyle Hill (Because Science) and I (your dreams) will be breaking down when and where you can get your grubby, energy-wasting mitts one of Tesla's Solar Roofs, as well as Stephen Hawking's increasingly concerned proclamations that we need to colonize another planet within the next 100 years or else face certain doom.
Muskwatch airs on Nerdist.com and YouTube every Tuesday, but you can hack the planet and watch it two full days earlier on Sunday if you’re an Alpha subscriber. Find out how you can get 30 days free (and be 48 hours smarter than your dumb friends) right here.
