Moon Knight has only just begun to air on Disney+, but our next MCU show is just around the corner. And it promises to give us something cosmic. Marvel has released the latest teaser trailer for Ms. Marvel, and though it doesn’t feature any new footage, it does hone the fantastical feeling of the show.

“What does it feel like?” Bruno Carrelli, Kamala Khan’s best friend, asks our heroine after she dons mysterious bracelets that seem to imbue her with heroic powers. Grinning, Kamala replies, “Cosmic,” as blue light dances over her fingers. And that’s exactly the feeling this teaser trailer focuses on. In Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan’s world of fantasy becomes her reality. Glowing fists, hop-scotching through the air, and… conveniently being able to shut her bedroom door, Kamala’s crackling powers are front and center.

But, of course, powers are nothing without the person that holds them. And as the trailer shares, it’s not the powers that make the girl, but the girl who makes the powers. The future is in Kamala Khan’s hands and that’s exactly where we’d like it to be.

The full synopsis for the show reads:

Ms. Marvel launching on Disney+ in Summer 2022, is a new series that introduces Kamala Khan—a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A great student, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel. But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life is easier with super powers, right?

Right… Powers have never made anything harder for anyone, especially not a teenager.
