As with every new Marvel and Disney+ series, the one question swirling since Moon Knight aired has been, “Will Moon Knight season two be confirmed?” And now, new Moon Knight season two news comes from two fairly reliable sources, the show’s star Oscar Isaac and executive producer and director Mohamed Diab. The pair took to TikTok, of all places, to tease what feels like a confirmation of Moon Knight season 2.

Take a look at the video below:

TikTok user @hayaattiaaa asks “the question on everyone’s mind… Is there a season two?” And then Diab pokes his head in to wonder, “Of Moon Knight?” Finally, Oscar Isaac seems to confirm that there is a season two of Moon Knight, completing the video by saying, “Why else would we be in Cairo?”

Well, this could all be an elaborate ruse, or it could be a confirmation of another season. It is certainly not an accidental slip of the tongue, revealing important MCU news. Diab and Isaac clearly planned and executed this TikTok to tease Moon Knight fans.

The plot also thickens because Diab also took to his Twitter to repost the video. He asks, “Moon Knight season two?” But is he asking Marvel Studios or telling fans? Nerdist reached out to Disney for comment and will update this article with any official response.

If this is indeed confirmation of Moon Knight‘s next season, it would be an exciting one for fans. Notably, Oscar Isaac did not sign an extended Marvel contract, leaving the MCU fate of Moon Knight‘s Steven Grant, Marc Spector, and Jake Lockley up in the air. Marvel has been sharing a lot about the MCU’s future plans, including detailed looks at Phase 5 and even Phase 6. But so far, we haven’t heard anything about the future of Moon Knight. Maybe the time is now.

But honestly, if TikTok is how Mohamed Diab and Oscar Isaac want to announce Moon Knight season two, we salute them. To be honest, it is a pretty epic move. We love the idea of the pair going rogue. But we hope they got permission from Disney, though. We do actually want more of the show.
