A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, good and evil fought an epic battle that spanned generations. In the not too distant future you’ll get to experience it all again on your own. LEGO’s massive Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga game will let players work their way through all nine chapters of that epic tale. But they’re going to have an opportunity to do a whole lot more than that. LEGO and Lucasfilm have announced the game is getting an April release date. And it celebrated the news with a gameplay trailer that shows The Skywalker Saga will feature more than just what happened in the three trilogies.

The LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga game is hitting stores on April 5. The news came with a six-minute trailer showing what it will look like when players log in. They’ll get to choose from more than 300 characters. (The most ever in a Star Wars game.) Including playing as heroes, villains, or even droids. That will also let you opt to be on either side of the Force. Gamers will also visit some of the most important planets in the franchise. There are 23 worlds to find adventure. Along with more than 100 vehicles to use. That will cover everything from land speeders to some of the most iconic ships in all of Star Wars.

And you’ll experience famous scenes with a twist. LEGO says the game has “all the unforgettable moments from the entire saga,” only they’re “retold in new, fun-filled, hilarious” LEGO-style humor. Which is on display in this gameplay trailer. Forget who shot first, Han or Greedo. Who threw their blaster first?

Players will have a chance to move through the three trilogies and movies as they please. They’ll also get to go on extra adventures not seen in the films. You can explore a world for side quests or just to hang out. And the more you play the more opportunities you’ll unlock.

The family-focused game will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
