Well, somehow it’s happening all over again and they have to help save these idiots from getting a hook to the gut. The latest trailer for I Know What You Did Last Summer reveals that the more things change, the more they stay the same.
Madelyn Cline is Danica Richards, who is the new Julie James. She’s getting married and having a celebration party that soon turns into a nightmare when she opens an envelope. Those ominous words about knowing a dark secret appear and things get bloody almost immediately.
In the I Know What You Did Last Summer trailer, Danica and company don’t know what to do, so they reach out to local bar owner Ray, whom we all know and love. Honestly, it’s a bad idea for Ray to get involved. We all saw what happened when Dewey didn’t mind his business in Scream V.

Julie also returns to the scene from her seemingly happy life to help these kids. She might fare better as a legacy character, but we will see.
