The world met the Sanderson sisters in 1993 when Hocus Pocus premiered. The movie about the witchy siblings became a cult classic in the decades that followed. So much so that it’s come around for a sequel. At D23 Expo on Friday afternoon, we got our first full trailer for Hocus Pocus 2. The previous tease briefly showed the Black Flame Candle flickering to life and the ominous return of the Sanderson sisters. The new Hocus Pocus 2 trailer brings the treacherous trio to the forefront with all the Winifred, Mary, and Sarah you can handle. Plus, this footage has Hocus Pocus MVP Billy Butcherson.

Oh these witches. We’ve missed them. The beginning of the trailer even shows the Sanderson sisters as kids. They’re banished from Salem forever but then Winifred gets her beloved book of spells for her 16th birthday. We know they ultimately get to return to the town.

Hocus Pocus 2 sees the Sandersons come back after some teens mistakenly summon them. Gilbert, played by the always delightful Sam Richardson, gifts teens the candle. Then Winifred’s book wakes up. The Sanderson sisters decide they must steal the teens’ souls. Chaos ensues. They even run amok.

Hocus Pocus 2 premieres on Disney+ on September 30.
