A Star Wars fan named Jessica got quite the surprise visit in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Thursday. When she logged in to Animal Crossing in the morning, the Nook’s Cranny on her island was offering 599 bells per turnip—a fantastic price in the current Stalk Market. You see, buying and selling turnips is the primary method for dedicated players to make money in Nintendo’s adorable 2020 sim.

So Jessica put out a courtesy tweet: anyone who wanted a Dodo Code for access to her island could DM her. Her Twitter inbox filled up fast, and included a message from Lord of the Rings star and video-game enthusiast Elijah Wood. He said, “Would love your Dodo Code to sell these turnips.”

Upon his arrival to Jessica’s island, Wood offered a special greeting for the group of Animal Crossing players assembled on the island, many of them fans of The Last Jedi (see Jessica’s Twitter name). “Long live Rian Johnson,” said the SAG Award-winning actor. “Your island is beautiful,” he added.

“I’m putting this on a résumé,” Jessica joked.

Wood’s Animal Crossing island etiquette is what you’d expect from the guy who played heroic hobbit Frodo Baggins, who scaled Mount Doom. After he concluded his business with the Stalk Market, he asked, “May I pick some fruit?” Wood even took the time to pose for a few screenshots, and applauded the other players’ dance moves.

“I scrolled through my requested DMs and see Elijah Wood, my Rian Johnson-supporting king,” Jessica tells Nerdist. “So of course he gets put to the top of the priority list. I sent him my code, and he pulled through. He explored my island, took pictures with us, and then the game disconnected. So I DM’d him, and he came back.”
