For almost 15 years, the Despicable Me series has been one of the most successful animated franchises of all time, with three main blockbuster films, two Minions spinoffs, and a new sequel on the way this summer, Despicable Me 4. To celebrate the release of the new film, the LEGO group partnered with Illumination and Universal Products & Experiences, will release a series of sets based on the upcoming film. Below are images and details of the first two Despicable Me 4 sets, with reveals for the other two LEGO sets based on the film coming at a later date.
LEGO Despicable Me 4 Minions and Gru’s Family Mansion
This Despicable Me 4 set comes with the mansion’s iconic architecture and beloved movie items, such as the red couch, fireplace, and rocket-style bedroom—not to mention a brightly colored tree house.

LEGO Despicable Me 4 Brick-Built Gru and Minions
The second Despicable Me 4 set is a Brick-Built Gru with dancing Minions. It comes with a ukulele-playing Mel and Kevin, armed with his fart gun. (You have to have a good fart gun).

Sadly, the giant LEGO Minion they revealed on April 1 was just an April Fool’s Day joke. It’s too bad, because we kind of want that one. We’ve included an image of it, because it’s way too perfect not to show.
