The first official entry in James Gunn’s new DCU is the animated series Creature Commandos, which hits the Max streaming service this winter. The series is based on the old DC Comics series Weird War Tales from the ’80s. That comic featured a military strike team of classic monsters who fought the Nazis in World War II. Now, DC Studios has updated it for the modern day. And James Gunn himself wrote every episode in the first season.

In anticipation of Creature Commandos’ impending release, for those of you wanting to show your support and fandom for Task Force M (the “M” stands for monster, ya know) DC already has a ton of merch available. Among the products showcasing James Gunn’s new elite strike force of freaks and weirdos, there are several Funko Pop vinyl figures. There’s also a new statue of Weasel from McFarlane Toys, and several T-shirts as well. You can check them all out down below in our gallery.

Among the first wave of Creature Commandos Funko figures are Eric Frankenstein, the Bride, and the Batman baddie Dr. Phosphorus. Joining him are G.I. Robot, and the Gil Woman, Nina Mazursky. Oh, we also can’t forget Weasel, whom fans already know from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Other characters set to appear in Creature Commandos include Rick Flag Sr., Batman villain Clayface, and Wonder Woman’s nemesis, Circe. Maybe they’ll get figures of their own in a future Funko Pop wave.

As for the Creature Commandos t-shirts, they each evoke the old-school quality of DC Comics from the ’80s. These comics often featured floating character heads surrounding the title logos on the covers. You can pre-order all of these already from the official DC Comics online shop. You can catch Creature Commandos when they drop their first episode on Max on December 5.
