Yes. Seriously. It feels like a banner year for horrific bears. First, the upcoming Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey absolutely captivated fans with its horror movie spin on everyone’s favorite childhood bear. And now we have Cocaine Bear. And, in case you were wondering, it is exactly what it sounds like. But worse. Because not only does a 500-pound bear get high on cocaine, it then decides to go on a murderous rampage. Uhm, help. We are enchanted yet terrified. And we have to know more. Take a look at the Cocaine Bear trailer below.

The Cocaine Bear trailer is absolutely bonkers. I hit play, knowing it would be bonkers and it was even more bonkers than that. At first, I thought the bear would just play a minor role in a documentary about a drug-running incident. But no. No. The bear is the feature of this trailer, and it is bloodthirsty. Honestly, a killer bear high on blow is an excellent premise for a horror comedy. Because a bear is one beast that you will not be able to stop. And yet, the premise could not feel more ridiculous. But actually, Cocaine Bear, directed by Elizabeth Banks, has a basis in reality.
