Mindfulness is all the rage these days and for good reason. As COVID-19 rages ever on, and the world seems in a constant state of disarray, it’s important to find a semblance of peace and calm. That’s why apps like Headspace and Calm are more popular than ever—both provide meditations and sleep practices to put us into a more comfortable state of mind.

And now, Calm is making the step from your phone to your television. HBO Max will air a new TV series, A World of Calm, in partnership with the creators of the Calm App and Nutopia. The innovative, half-hour show will help lull viewers to sleep with soothing imagery and narration. A-list stars like Mahershala Ali, Idris Elba, Oscar Isaac, Nicole Kidman, Zoë Kravitz, Lucy Liu, Cillian Murphy, and Keanu Reeves will provide that narration.
