Bel-Air season two is airing right now, but fans of the series officially have more than just a new episode to get excited about. Because Bel-Air has been officially renewed for season three. Yes, the Fresh Prince reboot/reimagining is returning for even more drama in California.
A release shares that, “Following its launch on Peacock last year as the streamer’s most-watched original premiere, Bel-Air is once again breaking records on the platform as Peacock’s most-watched original sophomore series to date.” And we aren’t at all surprised to hear that. At Nerdist, we’ve been big fans of the show since day one. And we’re honestly so glad to hear that Bel-Air will get a season three.
After all, it’s not easy stepping into the shoes of an iconic series like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. But Bel-Air as managed to capture the spirit of the original and transform it for our modern times.
Bel-Air season two is currently airing on Peacock. And we can expect a slew of incredible guest stars, emotional beats, and exciting revelations to greet us in its episodes. No word yet on when we can expect Bel-Air season three, but knowing it’s coming is news enough for now.
