To be honest, we don’t think we’ll ever get sick of Baby Yoda content. How could we? The adorable little 50-year-old tyke from The Mandalorian is basically the cutest thing in the world. So cute, that he’s united the fandom and courted even non-Star Wars fans. It’s hard to go anywhere or flip on the radio or have a conversation with friends without Baby Yoda coming up. Luckily, we don’t mind at all.

And luckily, the internet has no shortage of Baby Yoda stuff to enjoy. From upcoming Funko Pop! figures to Etsy creations and beyond, the lovable green alien sparked a creative frenzy. ( And even sparked several memes.) That even extends to songs. We previously featured an adorable Baby Yoda TikTok lullaby and even a Hamilton parody, and now we found another catchy, singable tune about the character. Take a listen. Warning: This will be in your head for the rest of the day.

“Baby Yoda (Floating In A Pod)” comes from songwriter Parry Gripp. Gripp is the lead vocalist of the pop punk band Nerf Herder, who did the theme music for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, among other amazing things. His career is long and varied, and includes an Emmy win, so we’re not surprised that he’d concoct something this catchy and cute.

The premise is really quite simple. It’s literally just Baby Yoda floating in a pod with lyrics that say “Baby Yoda, Baby Yoda, floating in a pod, Baby Yoda.” There are some additional lyrics here and there (“Levitating a horn monster, Baby Yoda”) but for the most part it’s just a 1 minute and 4 second cartoon video of floating Baby Yoda. And you know what? That’s all it needs to be.

The video features artwork from artist Nathan Mazur, which totally matches the aesthetic of the song: bright, cute, simple, joyful. All words we’d also use to describe The Mandalorian‘s tiniest Force user.

Oh, and if you like the video, don’t worry. Gripp also created an hour-long version of the song. Yes, it’s the same video from above on an hour-long loop. Yes, if you listen to the whole thing you might go insane. And yes, we tested our own personal limit to see how long we’d last. (Got through about four repeats before it was time to take a walk.)

We look forward to all of the Baby Yoda content sure to come our way as we get more episodes of The Mandalorian through the end of the month. We already know the show is getting a second season, so who knows. Maybe we’ll get ambushed with too much cute and power down. Or maybe we’ll continue to revel in this perfect little puppet creature until the end of time. Who’s to say? We’re happy to continue testing our limits.

For now, we can enjoy the little guy in weekly morsels. The Mandalorian currently airs every Friday on Disney+, with the exception of Episode 7, which comes out Wednesday, December 18 to avoid conflict with The Rise of Skywalker. The first season finale airs on December 27.
